In the 90’s, Seiko announced an entry into the sports timing technology. They made flagship launches of a variety of watches to target all sectors of the timing, scoring and displaying. Through a series of inventions and innovations, divers’ watches were developed and put up to the market. These products are widely accepted globally by sports enthusiasts all around the world. Seiko Solar Divers watch have been termed as landmark releases. The most popular versions being the SNE and SSC.

The SNE version is a solar powered watch and is regarded to as a Special PADI edition. It is water resistant and can stand depths of up to 660ft under water with all factors kept constant. This meets the set ISO standard and can also be used in scuba diving competitions. The hands and markers are well illuminated with a screw down crown and a stylish case back. You can never go wrong with the date calendar as it is well magnified. The version boosts of a 10-month power storage once it is charged to full capacity.

The SSC version is also solar powered with a numbered bezel and three chrono graphical dials. It boots of a 43mm stainless steel case and a stainless-steel band that is rust resistant. Its water depth capability is 660ft and generally used in not just SCUBA diving, but also marine and serious water surface activity.
